On the GRT channel, an interview was held with artist and sculptor Atanas Caraçoban, who created portraits for Comrat State University (CSU) as part of a creative project associated with Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University.
During the conversation with the hosts, he explained that to achieve maximum accuracy in details, he carefully gathered information about his subjects. The artist emphasized that he uses his own unique technique, which preserves individual style and expressiveness in each drawing.
Special attention was given to artistic freedom: the CSU Rector granted the artist permission to choose whom to portray, so the portraits were not pre-planned for specific individuals. This approach allows the images to remain natural and lively, reflecting the character and features of each person.
The interview demonstrated how a combination of professional preparation and creative freedom contributes to the creation of unique artworks that will become a valuable gift and part of the university’s cultural project.
