On March 31, 2026, an interuniversity student scientific conference with international participation took place at Moldova State University. The conference was organized by the Faculty of International Relations, Political Science, and Administrative Sciences and the Department of International Relations.
The event was organized as part of the Erasmus+ PeaceEdu project. Students from partner universities in Moldova, Ukraine, and Georgia participated in the conference.
Dean of the Faculty of International Relations, Political Science, and Administrative Sciences, Dr. Alexandru Solcan, and Professor Valentina Teosa, Ph.D., National Coordinator of the PeaceEdu project, addressed the conference participants with welcoming remarks. Comrat State University was represented at the student scientific forum by Mihail Ikizli, a master's student in the Faculty of Law, who presented a paper entitled "Peacebuilding in the Context of Global Challenges." In his presentation, Ikizli examined current issues of peacebuilding in the context of contemporary global challenges, emphasizing the importance of an interdisciplinary approach and legal mechanisms in ensuring sustainable peace.
