On April 23, 2026, an official meeting was held at Comrat State University between the Rector of CSU, Dr., University Associate Professor Zaharia Serghei, and Mr. John Chang Yun, Director of the Korean Culture Center and representative of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea.
During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for developing cooperation between Comrat State University and Korean educational and cultural institutions. The discussion took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere, highlighting the mutual interest in strengthening partnership relations.
Special attention was given to future collaboration in the fields of education and culture. In particular, the parties discussed plans for organizing joint educational events, language and cultural activities, as well as the possible establishment of a Korean Cultural Center at the university.
After the official part, the guests visited the academic units and centers of CSU, where they were introduced to the university’s infrastructure, educational opportunities, and ongoing activities. The Korean representatives highly appreciated the university’s potential and expressed their interest in further developing cooperation.
The meeting concluded in a positive and constructive atmosphere, with both sides expressing confidence in the successful implementation of future joint initiatives.
