Istanbul Nişantaşı University brought together scientists, researchers, and healthcare professionals within the framework of the 1st International Health Sciences Congress, which took place on May 7–9, 2026.

The event was held at the university’s NeoTech campus and gathered participants from Türkiye, Moldova, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, India, and Nigeria. The congress became an important platform for international knowledge exchange and academic cooperation in the field of healthcare.

At the opening ceremony, speeches were delivered by the Rector of Nişantaşı University, Prof. Dr. Ayşegül Komşuoğlu Çıtıpıtıoğlu, Congress President Prof. Dr. Fadime Çınar, and Deputy Minister of Health of Türkiye, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Şuayip Birinci.

The main topics of the congress included artificial intelligence in healthcare, telemedicine, data security, digital transformation of medical systems, and innovative medical technologies.
The Rector of Comrat State University, Doctor, Associate Professor Serghei Zaharia, also took part in the work of the international congress. During the event, meetings were held with foreign colleagues to discuss prospects for academic cooperation and the exchange of scientific experience in the fields of medical and natural sciences.

CSU’s participation in this international forum became an important step toward strengthening the university’s international academic ties and expanding cooperation with foreign educational and scientific institutions.

Thanks to this event, Nişantaşı University once again strengthened its international academic position in the field of health sciences.
