Comrat State University hosted the academic mobility of Dr. Necmi DÜŞÜNCELİ, lecturer of the Faculty of Engineering at Aksaray University (Republic of Türkiye). The mobility was carried out within the framework of the Erasmus+ Staff Mobility for Teaching (STA) programme.
During the visit, Dr. Necmi DÜŞÜNCELİ delivered a series of lectures for students of the Faculty of Economics specializing in “Mathematics and Informatics” and “Informatics and Mathematics”. The lectures demonstrated the close connection between mathematics and engineering.
Special attention was paid to the following topics:
main properties of polymers;
application of polymers in sports, medicine, industry, and agriculture;
types of plastics and recycling issues;
applied aspects of polymer use in everyday life.

Associate Professor, PhD Kovrikova R. N. and Acting Head of the Department Popil G. P. expressed words of gratitude to the guest for the informative lectures and valuable experience provided to students.
The visit took place within the framework of the III International Staff Mobility Week from May 4 to 8, 2026.
At the end of the programme, Dr. Necmi DÜŞÜNCELİ was awarded a certificate confirming the successful completion of his teaching mobility at CSU.
