An agreement has been signed between Comrat State University and the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in the Republic of Moldova for the implementation in 2026 of the project “Support for the modernization of the Information Technology Center at Comrat State University.” The project will be implemented with the support of the Polska Pomoc program — the development and humanitarian assistance program of the Republic of Poland, aimed at supporting developing countries. The project includes the renovation of the Information Technology Center premises, infrastructure upgrades, and the procurement of modern equipment, including computers, an interactive whiteboard, and other necessary technology. The total project cost amounts to 20,700 euros, of which 18,000 euros are provided by the Polish side, while Comrat State University will contribute 2,700 euros. After the signing of the agreement, a meeting took place between the Rector of CSU and Jacek Kasprzyk. During the meeting, the Rector expressed gratitude to the Polish diplomat for the close partnership between the university and the Republic of Poland, for the significant contribution of the Polish side to project development in the Republic of Moldova, and for the continuous support of Comrat State University. The Rector noted that this is already the fourth joint project implemented with the support of the Republic of Poland at CSU. In total, the Polish side has supported university projects worth 58,000 euros. Both sides confirmed their interest in further strengthening bilateral cooperation and implementing new joint initiatives in education and university infrastructure modernization.
