An off-site anti-corruption exhibition dedicated to electoral integrity, the fight against corruption, and the strengthening of democratic values was opened at Comrat State University.
The exhibition, previously presented at the National Museum of History of Moldova, was organized in Comrat for the first time and attracted significant interest among university students. The exposition included documentary materials, journalistic investigations, and examples revealing the mechanisms of corruption, vote buying, and information manipulation.
As part of the event, students met with representatives of the journalistic community and civil society. During the open dialogue, participants discussed the role of independent media, the importance of critical thinking, the civic responsibility of young people, and students’ participation in the development of democratic processes.
One of the guests of the event was Alina Radu, director of the investigative publication Ziarul de Gardă, who spoke to students about journalistic investigations, methods of combating corruption, and the importance of objective information in modern society. Students actively participated in the discussion, asked questions, and showed great interest in topics related to civic responsibility, fair elections, and anti-corruption efforts.
The event was organized with the support of the European Union and the United Nations Development Programme in partnership with the ADEPT Association and the Center for Regional Policies and Reforms.
