On May 29, 2026, an online meeting was held between the administration of Comrat State University and the Mayor of the city of Artsyz (Ukraine), Serhii Parpulanskyi. The meeting took place within the framework of the university’s strategy aimed at expanding international academic and cultural cooperation.
The meeting was attended by the Rector of Comrat State University, Doctor of Sciences, Associate Professor Serghei Zaharia, as well as the university vice-rectors Gheorghe Sult and Liudmila Fedotova.
The main topic of discussion was the development of partnership relations between Comrat State University and the city of Artsyz in the fields of education, science, and culture. During the meeting, the participants discussed prospects for academic exchange, joint youth initiatives, and opportunities for expanding cultural cooperation between the two regions.
Serghei Zaharia emphasized the importance of international cooperation for strengthening the academic environment, exchanging professional experience, and developing humanitarian ties between the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine.
As a result of the meeting, the parties discussed the main directions of a future cooperation agreement. The participants expressed mutual interest in implementing joint projects aimed at developing educational potential, supporting youth initiatives, and strengthening interregional partnership.
The administration of Comrat State University is confident that this cooperation will become an important step in the development of the university’s international relations, open new opportunities for students and academic staff, and contribute to strengthening cultural dialogue and good-neighborly relations between the regions.
