On April 2, 2022, an official award ceremony took place at Comrat State University https://kdu.md/ at American Resource Centre for students and teachers from mun. Comrat, mun. Ceadir-Lunga, Vulcanesti, Congaz, Chirsovo and mun. Taraclia, for their active participation in the two-day training (online, February 19-20), which discussed many interesting topics related to public speaking.
The participants, together with the trainers, took their first steps in public speaking, emphasizing its advantages in everyday communication, mastered effective techniques for attracting the attention of the audience and the long-term effect of storytelling, learned the secrets of using non-verbal communication and visual images, paying special attention to developing a suitable visual aid that complements speech.
The organizers of the event were representatives of the administration of Comrat State University and representatives of the Department of English and German Philology of Balti State University Alecu Russo https://usarb.md/, Balti American Center and SAFE Media Space Balti.
These events were held with the support and funding of the US State Department and the US Embassy in Moldova.
