On May 19, 2022, an agreement was signed between the Comrat State University https://kdu.md/, represented by Rector Serghei Zaharia, on the one hand, and the University of Political and Economic European Knowledge “Constantin Stere” https://uspee.md/ and The American University of Moldova http://aum.md/, represented by Rector Gheorghe Avornic, on the other hand, collectively referred to as the “Parties”, have concluded this agreement as follows:
This agreement defines the interaction of the Parties in the process of scientific and methodological cooperation: the exchange of knowledge, information, positions and curricula in the field of education on a joint basis in accordance with the needs of the Parties.
The agreement involves the development of joint programs for higher education, postgraduate and doctoral studies within the framework of international cooperation, quality assurance and international recognition of curricula.
The purpose of the agreement is:
- Establishment and development of cooperation between the parties in the field of education, science and culture.
- Providing a high level of scientific and educational materials.
- The quality of training in accordance with state requirements through the effective use of educational and methodological materials.
- Using the scientific potential of two leading universities.
Areas of cooperation:
- Promoting the European practice of promoting the implementation of the goals of the Bologna Agreement, exchange of information in relevant areas, exchange of curricula and materials, academic experience, researchers and students in accordance with academic resources available financial means, depending on the needs of the parties.
- Developing joint projects and mutual support in order to raise funds for joint work and research, in particular from EU funds in areas of mutual interest.
- Exchanging experience in the implementation of advanced technologies and teaching methods, provision of mutual assistance in the training of scientific personnel.
- Stimulating and deepening of the mutual exchange of information, literature, journals and books, documents, scientific publications and experience between the two Parties.
- Partner Universities will organize and take part in joint scientific and cultural events (conferences, symposiums, seminars, round tables, etc.) with the themes of cooperation projects and research projects in areas of mutual interest.
The activities carried out under this agreement will be initiated primarily by the academic units at each university and in coordination with their respective administrative units engaged in international activities.
