On 13 May 2022, Serghei ZAHARIA, PhD. Associate Professor, Rector of Comrat State University https://kdu.md/en/ met with Prof. Dr. Özgür Kasım AYDEMİR, the Vice Rector of Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University https://www.alanya.edu.tr/ during which they signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to enhance cooperation between the two universities.
“Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat Universitesi” (hereafter (ALKU) and “Comrat State University” (hereafter CSU) recognize their desire to engage in cooperative educational and research activities for mutual benefits of both institutions.
The purpose of this memorandum is to develop cooperation in the field of education and research, to promote mutual understanding between Universities. Both of them will search for the cooperation in the field of education and research in areas of mutual interest, will encourage direct contact and cooperation between academic staff, faculties, departments, research institutions and students.
To expand and promote their mutual interests, both parties have agreed to encourage organizing the following:
- Joint curricular activities in education and teaching, such as summer schools and diploma programs;
- Collaboration on Doctoral student exchange and on writing supervised Doctoral thesis;
- Joint extra-curricular activities in academic and scientific fields, such as certificate courses, conferences, meeting and symposia;
- Collaborative research projects and studies;
- Collaborative academic and scientific publications;
- Exchange of research and teaching staff;
- Exchange of academic publications and scholarly documents.
The activities carried out under this Memorandum will be initiated primarily by the academic units at each University and in coordination with their respective administrative units involved in international activities.
