On 31st of May the Coordinator of the Office of International Relations of Comrat State University, Dr. Kudret Safa Gümüş, met with the representatives of the administration and faculties of the University. He introduced the mission and the working principles of the CSU International Relations Office followed by a presentation on the activities carried out by the Office since its establishment (April 1, 2022). Dr. Kudret Safa Gümüş presented much information sharing about Erasmus (KA171) and Mevlana Mobility Projects in detail, the conditions and regulations for the participation in them.
A great attention was paid to the roles of the Office vis-a-vis the Deanships in coordinating the relations between CSU and foreign Universities as well as project development and participating in the various prospective projects.
The main responsibilities of the Office, which has been the central unit of CSU in the organization of international relations since its establishment, are as follows:
- The development of bilateral cooperations;
- The implementation of academician and student exchange programs;
- The provision of technical and language support to the Dean's Offices in terms of project development;
- Conducting symposiums, conferences, seminars, etc.
The Office is currently responsible for the implementation of the Erasmus (KA171) and Mevlana Exchange Programmes. From now on, the Office will also have the task of coordinating the upcoming international projects to be implemented at CSU.
