On April 26, 2024, at Comrat State University there was held the students’ scientific and practical conference with international participation entitled “The Role of Education in Training Competitive Specialists. Students’ Research 2024.” The conference was organized by the Faculty of National Culture.
The purpose of the conference has been to promote the scientific activity of students of pedagogical specialties, to develop academic, social, personal and professional competencies of future specialists in the education system.
In her welcoming speech, the Vice-Rector for Scientific Activity and International Relations of CSU, Genova Svetlana, PhD, Associate Professor, has pointed out to the significance of the conference: “Today we are here to participate in a very important event - a student conference which is of paramount importance for students as they have a great possibility to share their findings. Scientific research is useful not only for lecturers, but also for students. We believe that our students will continue to do research in the future in the ATU Gagauzia.” Also, Genova Svetlana has transmitted congratulations and gratitude words to the participants and wishes for fruitful work from the rector of Comrat State University, Zaharia Serghei, PhD, Associate Professor.
The moderator of the plenary section of the conference, Curteva Oxana, Dean of the Faculty of National Culture, PhD, Associate Professor, has noted the importance of students’ involvement in research activities in the process of their professional training at the university, the formation of the necessary competencies in the field of research, strengthening self-awareness in the profession, and she also wished the participants productive work and interesting discussions.
The work of the conference continued in four Sections:
SECTION 1: Psychological and Pedagogical Aspects of Training in Educational Institutions
SECTION 2: Research in Modern Gagauz and Turkic Philology and History
SECTION 3: Philology: Issues of Linguistics, Linguodidactics and Literary Study
SECTION 4: Music Education: Scientific and Practical Aspects
Section moderators have been lecturers and students.
More than 100 students and undergraduates from universities in Moldova, as well as young researchers from abroad - representatives of 5 countries: Turkey, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Russia, Azerbaijan took part in the conference. It is significant that students from the M.Chakir College in Comrat also has taken an active part in the conference. 67 young researchers have presented their publications that will be included into the conference collection.
Within the framework of each of the four sections, the best student reports were awarded. The competition jury in each section determined the best student works. Winner diplomas and memorable prizes were received by:
Section 1: Tatiana Stoyanoglo (group NDP-23, scientific adviser - Kior Liudmila, PhD, Associate Professor), Chebotar Valentina (group MOM-23, scientific adviser - Kurteva Oxana, PhD, Associate Professor), Elena Mihailova (4th year, M.Chakir College, Comrat, scientific advisor - Mazurenko Natalia,MA);
Section 2: Nenova Lyudmila (group T-21, scientific adviser - Adem Koç, PhD, Associate Professor).
Section 3: Nistor Felicia (gr.RE-20, scientific adviser - Mititelu Oxana, PhD, Associate Professor), Kapsamun Aliona (group AN-20, scientific adviser Sandu Tatiana, PhD, Associate Professor).
Section 4: Shokodey Raisa (gr.MMV-22) scientific adviser, - Todorov V., PhD, Associate Professor), Nikita Koltuk (4th year, M.Chakir College, Comrat, scientific adviser - Petrova M., teacher, 1 did. gr.).
Upon completion of the work, all students who presented their reports have been awarded certificates.
