Researchers and initiative research groups from Comrat State University are invited to submit applications to participate in the competition for joint bilateral Moldovan-Romanian projects. Following negotiations conducted by the Ministry of Education and Research of the Republic of Moldova (MEC) and the Ministry of Research, Innovation, and Digitalization of Romania (MCID), the launch of the competition organized by UEFISCDI (as Lead Partner) and ANCD is announced. The competition “Complex Bilateral Projects with the Republic of Moldova” (https://www.ancd.gov.md/ro/content/concursul-proiectelor-bilaterale-moldo-rom%C3%A2ne) is framed within Program 5.8 - European and International Cooperation, Subprogram 5.8.3 - Bilateral/Multilateral, and aims to finance complex joint research projects conducted by researchers from Romania in partnership with researchers from the Republic of Moldova, focusing on a common research topic, strengthening collaborations and research networks.

The project proposal is submitted by a research organization (public or private) from Romania, as the project coordinator, in partnership with a research organization (public or private) from the Republic of Moldova. The submission of the project proposal is made by the coordinator from Romania. One person, acting as the project director (Romania) / responsible partner (co-director) from the Republic of Moldova, can submit only one project proposal. The total budget of the competition is 13,000,000 RON, divided between Romania and the Republic of Moldova. Each project can receive a maximum funding of 750,000 RON, evenly divided between partners from both countries, with ANCD's contribution being a maximum of 150,000 RON, equivalent to a maximum of 600,000 MDL per project. The duration of a project is a maximum of 24 months. Calendar:

- Submission of funding applications: October 30, 2024
- Evaluation: November 2024 - March 2025
- Final results: March - April 2025
