On October 4, 2024, at Baku State University (Azerbaijan) (BSU), a partnership meeting was held with representatives of the administration of Comrat State University (CSU). The Rector of CSU, Doctor, Assoc. prof.,  Serghei Zakharia, met with the Vice-Rector for Science and Innovations of BSU, Doctor, Professor Huseyn Mikayil oglu Mamedov, and Doctor Rauf Hasanov, Director of the BSU International Relations Office. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the prospects for cooperation between the universities, exchange experiences in the field of educational programs, and develop joint projects in scientific and cultural spheres. One of the key topics was the discussion of the necessity of signing a memorandum of understanding, which will serve as a basis for further strengthening cooperation. The parties discussed opportunities for academic exchanges for students and faculty, the organization of joint scientific conferences and seminars, as well as the development of new educational programs aimed at improving the quality of higher education. The Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, Doctor, Associate Professor Aydan Refig Zyaka gyzy Handan, also participated in the discussion, which allowed for a more detailed discussion of cooperation opportunities in the field of Oriental language studies, the implementation of joint educational and research projects, and the organization of cultural events aimed at mutual understanding and the promotion of Oriental culture. The meeting was held in a warm and constructive atmosphere, reflecting mutual interest in further strengthening partnership relations. Comrat State University and Baku State University expressed their willingness to develop and strengthen cooperation aimed at the advancement of education and science.
