On October 8, 2024, Alla Levitskaia, Doctor Habilitat of Economic Sciences, Univ. Professor from the Department of Economics and Tatiana Velicova, Dr., Assoc. prof. from the Department of Information Technologies, Mathematics and Physics, participated in the International Conference "RENAM E-Infrastructure – Supporting Excellence in National Research and Education", dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the National Research and Education Network RENAM. The conference was organized by the RENAM Association, Moldova State University, and the pan-European academic network GÉANT, with the support of the Ministry of Education and Research, the Academy of Sciences of Moldova and the EU-funded project "EU4Digital: Connecting Research and Education Communities (EaPConnect)." The conference took place at Moldova State University. As the conference was a jubilee event, invited speakers discussed the establishment of RENAM, the development of the network, its partners, and future plans. Topics related to RENAM's infrastructure supporting education and science, the GÉANT backbone network, GÉANT services, open educational resources, and the transformation of education through AI were also addressed.
