This event marked an important step in the development of medical terminology and interlingual communication, especially in the Gagauz regions. The presentation was attended by representatives of the scientific community, doctors, medical students, as well as employees of educational institutions. The author and compiler of the dictionary, Güllu Karanfil, Doctor of Philology and lecturer at the Department of Gagauz Philology and History at Comrat State University (CSU), noted that the purpose of creating the dictionary was to simplify the interaction between medical workers and patients for whom the Gagauz language is native, as well as to support the study of medical terminology in both language groups.
The dictionary includes over 12,000 terms covering key areas of medicine.

This dictionary will be a valuable tool not only for doctors but also for students, teachers, and anyone who seeks to improve their knowledge of medicine in both languages. The event sparked significant interest from members of the medical community, students of Comrat State University, and researchers of the same institution. Many attendees noted that the dictionary would be an indispensable assistant in their work and studies. The dictionary will be distributed to all medical institutions of the Gagauzia Autonomous Territorial Unit, and several copies have been added to the scientific collection of the СSU scientific library.
