On November 6, 2019, Students of the faculty of Economics of Comrat State University had visited the national Bank of the Republic of Moldova and took part in the excursion  "The Road of Money " The excursion for students began with a lecture at the National Bank. At the lecture was discussed  such issues as the history of the origin of money, the function and role of money in the economy, the regulation of the money supply, etc.

Next, the students visited the Museum of Money in the National Bank, where the guide told about the history of the national currency. Among the most valuable exhibits are commemorative coins. They are made of gold and silver. Most of the commemorative coins are dedicated to various historical and cultural figures, as well as attractions of our country. Another pride of the Museum - a bar of gold, past which no visitor can pass.

Great interest of students was caused by part of the tour, where where they were able to get acquainted with the tactile and visual elements of banknote protection. Students were also shown how to determine the authenticity of banknotes with the help of specialized equipment.

"The Road of Money " for students of economic faculty will be continued at the open lectures November 15, 2019. At the lecture, branch Manager of "FinComBank" Tsveatkov V. N. will tell students how does money flow to commercial banks and then get into the real economy,  what are the characteristics of the use of electronic money. Career development in the financial sector of the Republic of Moldova will also be discussed.
