During a visit to Turkey, a meeting was held at Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University between representatives of Baku Eurasian University (Azerbaijan) and Comrat State University (Moldova), dedicated to establishing academic cooperation. During the dialogue, the parties discussed prospects for long-term collaboration in education and scientific research. The highlight of the meeting was the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between the two universities. The document was signed by the Rector of Comrat State University, Assoc. Prof., PhD Serghei Zaharia, and the Rector of Baku Eurasian University, Associate Professor Səyavuş Qasımov.
According to the agreements reached, the following areas of cooperation are planned:
• Short-term and long-term student exchange programs;
• Organization of joint scientific research activities;
• Development and implementation of academic programs by mutual agreement.
This partnership aims to strengthen the exchange of knowledge and experience between the two institutions, as well as to create new opportunities for students to participate in international academic initiatives. Comrat State University expresses sincere gratitude to the leadership of Baku Eurasian University for their interest in cooperation, open stance, and commitment to developing strong academic ties.
