On May 22, 2025, Comrat State University officially joined as a partner university in organizing the International Symposium on Turkic Studies together with Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University (Turkey), Kazakh National Women's Pedagogical University (Kazakhstan), and Baku Eurasian University (Azerbaijan). According to the signed protocol, the 13th symposium will be held in June 2026 at Comrat State University. The event will include scientific sessions, the cultural program “Köktümüz Bir Türküz” (“We Are One Turkic Root”), and the publication of a collection of scientific papers. The symposium has been held annually since 2014 in various countries of the Turkic world, bringing together scholars, researchers, and educators working on the history, language, culture, and education of Turkic peoples.
