Strengthening Academic Cooperation: International Delegation Visits Comrat State University

On September 18, 2025, Comrat State University had the honor of welcoming an international delegation composed of representatives from academia and sports organizations from Turkey and Romania:

-Assoc. Prof. Dr. Barış Boru, Director of the Lifelong Education Center, Sakarya University of Applied Sciences;

-Koray Cantez, Lecturer at the School of Foreign Languages, Sakarya University of Applied Sciences;

-Rüstem Kayın, Member of the Turkish Cycling Federation;

-Assoc. Prof. Dr. Iconomescu Teodora Mihaela, Department of Physical Education and Sport, “Dunărea de Jos” University of Galați.

The guests were warmly welcomed by CSU Rector, Assoc. Prof. PhD Serghei Zaharia, and Assoc. Prof. PhD Svetlana Ghenova. The meeting provided an opportunity to address a wide range of topics related to the prospects for developing bilateral and multilateral academic partnerships.

Particular emphasis was placed on:

-launching joint master’s programs within Erasmus KA171 projects;

-expanding scientific research and publication activity in international journals;

-participation in Jean Monnet programs and initiatives;

-strengthening cultural and sports exchange between universities.

The discussion also highlighted the importance of involving students and faculty in joint projects and academic mobility, which will broaden educational opportunities and enhance the international integration of Comrat State University. Such meetings open new horizons for cooperation and establish a solid foundation for long-term relations. Comrat State University expresses sincere gratitude to its partners for constructive dialogue and their commitment to developing joint initiatives. The university looks to the future with optimism, aiming to implement concrete projects that will benefit both the academic community and the region, strengthening cultural and educational bridges between countries.
