On October 21, 2025, a meeting of the students of the Faculty of Economics at Comrat State University took place, during which the election of the faculty’s student representative to the CSU Senate was held.
The meeting was attended by 180 students out of a total of 269 enrolled. The agenda included the approval of the chairperson and secretary of the meeting, as well as the nomination and voting for candidates for the Senate.
According to the results:
• Elena Bratunova was elected Chairperson of the meeting;
• Daria Kojocar was elected Secretary.
Three candidates were nominated for the position of student representative to the CSU Senate. The voting results were as follows:
• Svetlana Sirceli — 170 votes “for”;
• Nikita Shamaylyan — 4 votes “for”;
• Ivan Iovciu — 6 votes “for”.
Based on the results, Svetlana Sirceli was elected as the student representative of the Faculty of Economics in the CSU Senate.
