
On December 29, 2025, an online meeting was held between the Rector of Comrat State University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Serghei Zaharia, and the Rector of Hatay Mustafa Kemal University (Republic of Türkiye), Prof. Dr. Veysel Eren. During the meeting, the parties signed a protocol on the expansion and deepening of bilateral academic cooperation between the two higher education institutions.
The signed protocol provides for the implementation of mutual exchange programs for students and academic staff, the organization of joint educational, scientific, and research activities, as well as the opening and further development of the TÖMER unit (Turkish Language Teaching Center) at Comrat State University. The Center’s activities will contribute to improving the level of language training of students and faculty members and expanding their opportunities to participate in international educational programs and projects.
The signing of this document is aimed at further strengthening academic interaction between universities of the Turkic world, developing international cooperation, and expanding educational and research opportunities for students and academic staff of Comrat State University, including participation in academic mobility programs.
