Comrat State University congratulates Andrei Avramov, a member of the National Student Sports Federation Team of the Republic of Moldova and a student of group EF-25, on becoming the World Champion at the FISU World University Championship Combat Sports 2026 in Muay Thai in the under 67 kg weight category, organized by the International University Sports Federation (FISU).

We also express our sincere appreciation to the university coach and instructor, Eduard Chiosea, who participated in the preparation of this athlete.

The student-athlete and his coach have once again confirmed their high level of excellence, worthy of representing the national team. The outstanding result achieved in Brasília, Brazil, from June 8 to 13, 2026, is a source of pride for the entire academic and sports community of the university and the Republic of Moldova, and serves as an inspiring example for young student-athletes.
