
The new stage in the development of bilateral relations was marked by the signing of a cooperation agreement between Comrat State University (CSU) and one of Ukraine’s leading universities — Poltava State Agrarian University (PSAU) (Poltava city). By signing the agreement, both parties, represented by the Rector of CSU, Dr., Associate Professor Serghei Zaharia (CSU) and Dr., Professor Olexandr Galich (PSAU), emphasized that this partnership will enable mutual advisory support, exchange of information, expand the universities’ opportunities to participate in scientific-educational, innovative projects and other types of joint activities in the field of education and research in agricultural production. The planned bilateral cooperation includes: academic exchange of professors, doctoral students, master's students, and students; organization and participation in internships and practical training for master's students and students; exchange of experience in implementing and developing advanced teaching methods; conducting joint scientific research on current topics; publication and exchange of materials on the research conducted at the universities; joint organization of exhibitions, scientific-practical conferences, scientific seminars, and informational publications; participation in international cooperation programs in the field of science and new technologies, integration into the global educational system; development of joint scientific projects for participation in competitions for international funds, grants, and organizations, etc. Additionally, the priority objectives of the new agreement include: creating favorable conditions for the exchange of ideas, information, and technologies, research and development, establishing, expanding, developing, and strengthening inter-university ties using various forms of cooperation, based on the experience and capabilities of the parties. In the near future, a meeting of representatives of the partner universities is planned to be held via videoconference to discuss the aspects of future scientific and educational cooperation between the two universities.
