Presentation of DAAD Scholarships for 2025 for Students and Faculty Held at Comrat State University

On October 10, 2024, students and academic staff of Comrat State University (CSU) received information about the opportunities for higher education and research support provided by the German Academic Exchange Service – DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst) in 2025. Dr. Joseph ZALLANZ, a DAAD lecturer, presented to the students and faculty of CSU the DAAD offerings for the current academic year, emphasizing the importance of international exchange for students and researchers. The Vice-Rector for Research and International Relations of CSU, Assoc. prof., Dr., Genova and the faculty members of the Department of Foreign Languages of CSU Assoc., prof., Dr. Sofia Sulak and Assistant Lecturer Tatiana Todorich, expressed their gratitude to Dr. Joseph ZALLANZ, highlighting the significance of the contribution of the German Academic Exchange Service in supporting higher education and research. The DAAD is the largest organization in the world supporting international student and researcher exchanges. In addition to advising on scholarship programs, the DAAD organizes a significant number of cultural, informational, and training events (book presentations, conferences, seminars, etc.). Since September 2016, Dr. Joseph ZALLANZ has been the DAAD representative in the Republic of Moldova. Previous representatives included Heiner DINTERA (1998-2003), Nicole STIRNBERG (2003-2006), Jan-Peter ABRAM (2006-2011), and Sofia BELLMAN (2011-2016).
