The administration and researchers,  the teaching staff of Comrat State University sincerely congratulate the lecturer of the Department of Gagauz Philology and History, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Güllü Karanfil, on being awarded the state distinction – the “Meritul Civic” Medal (Decree of the President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, No. 1705-IX dated December 20, 2024), on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of ATU Gagauzia. This high distinction is a well-deserved recognition of professionalism, long-standing work, and significant contributions to the development of science, education, and the preservation and strengthening of the cultural heritage of Gagauzia – the Gagauz language and literature.
