Faculty and Staff of Comrat State University Participated in the Erasmus+ Information Seminar: 2025 Call for Proposals

On December 26, 2024, staff of the International Relations and Project Activities Department and faculty of Comrat State University (CSU) participated in the online seminar “Erasmus+ Programme Information Seminar: 2025 Call for Proposals & Information Sessions for Higher Education Staff.” The seminar, organized by the National Erasmus+ Office in Moldova with the support of the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Moldova and the Ministry of Education and Research, provided CSU participants with valuable insights into key updates for Erasmus+ project applications in 2025.

Key Highlights of the Seminar:

  • International dimension of Erasmus+ 2021–2027: expanded opportunities for non-EU countries to participate in educational projects.
  • Updates for 2025: emphasis on global challenges such as climate change, digital transformation, and migrant integration. New support directions include promoting EU values, using artificial intelligence, and implementing "Green Deal" projects.
  • Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE): new opportunities for cooperation within three streams (access to higher education, transformation, and structural reforms).
  • Mobility and teaching support programs: Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters, Erasmus Mundus Design Measures, and Jean Monnet Activities.

Comrat State University strengthens its position on the international educational stage, gaining access to high-level resources and grant programs. The seminar highlighted opportunities for future participation in initiatives aimed at integrating innovative solutions, developing the skills of teachers and students, and preparing for global challenges. The CSU administration, represented by Rector, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Serghei Zaharia, identifies crucial priorities for attracting and implementing projects that drive productive development in teaching methodologies, scientific research, professional and student internships, and the modernization of CSU's technical base. Comrat State University thanks the event organizers and will continue its active participation in projects aimed at strengthening academic ties.
