Professors and researchers from Comrat State University, the Department of Romanian Linguistics and Literary Studies of the Faculty of Philology at Moldova State University, the Department of Foreign Languages at the Romanian-American University (Bucharest), and the Department of Romanian Philology, Classical and Balkan Languages at "Ovidius" University (Constanța) invite you to the International Symposium "Utilizing Professional Experience in Teaching the Native Language as a Foreign Language. Synergistic Models in Language Teaching Methodology", which will take place on April 29, 2025, at 10:00 AM in a hybrid format (both in-person and online).
The symposium covers the following topics:
• Developing professional experience in language teaching – discussion on the importance of teaching the native language as a foreign language (NLFL), the native language as a non-native language (NLNN), and foreign languages (FL) in modern educational contexts. Analysis of current methodologies, adaptation to changes in the education system, and the development of effective teaching models.
• Teaching the native language as a foreign language – studying strategies for integrating international students into the linguistic environment, the role of teachers in creating a comfortable learning atmosphere, and promoting the native language at the international level.
• Synergistic models in language teaching methodology – examining the interaction of different language models (NLFL, NLNN, FL) to enhance the efficiency of language learning, analyzing new methodological approaches, and sharing professional experiences.
The symposium will feature two sections:
Section A – Professional experience in language teaching in various linguistic and cultural contexts.
Section B – Effective language teaching models validated through practical results.
