On April 15, 2025, Comrat State University (CSU) had the great honor of welcoming a delegation from Aksaray University (Republic of Türkiye), led by the Rector, Professor, Ph.D. Alpay Arıbaş, along with Dr. Füsun Zeynep Arıbaş, a specialist from Aksaray University’s Research and Training Clinic, and Professor, Ph.D. Melayib Bilgin, International Relations Coordinator. This meeting marked an important step in the development of international academic cooperation between the two higher education institutions.

During the official ceremony held in the CSU conference hall, a bilateral cooperation agreement was signed between Comrat State University and Aksaray University. The agreement outlines plans for joint scientific research, student and faculty exchange programs, as well as the organization of conferences, seminars, and cultural events.

The Rector of Comrat State University, Associate Professor, Ph.D. Serghei Zaharia, emphasized the importance of expanding CSU’s international relations and expressed confidence that cooperation with Aksaray University will open new horizons for students, researchers, and academic staff from both universities.

As part of the visit, the guests were given a tour of the university buildings, during which a presentation was delivered on the history, structure, educational environment, academic subdivisions, and achievements of Comrat State University. The delegation also visited the Department of Turkish Language and Literature, where they met with faculty members and students, and learned about the organization of the academic process.
