Prepared by the TRT Directorate of In-House Productions for TRT MÜZİK and TRT AVAZ channels, the music program titled “From Turkistan to Rumelia” highlights musical and cultural elements spanning the vast geography from Turkistan to Rumelia.
Between July 15–21, 2025, the program’s filming location is the capital of the Gagauz Autonomous Territorial Unit – Komrat.
Before starting their shootings in the Gagauz region, the program producers visited the Rectorate of Komrat State University. During the visit, they held discussions and exchanged views with the Rector Associate Professor Dr. Serghei ZAHARIA, First Vice-Rector Associate Professor Dr. Georghe SULT, Vice-Rector Associate Professor Dr. Svetlana GHENOVA, Associate Professor Dr. Şükrü BAŞTÜRK, and the producers of the program “From Turkistan to Rumelia” on the music and cultures of the Turkic world.
The guests also visited the Instrument Museum, furnished by the TİKA “Moldova – Chișinău Program Coordination Office”.
