Meeting of the Azerbaijani Diaspora with Students from Azerbaijan at CSU

On October 30, 2025, a meaningful and warm meeting took place at Comrat State University between representatives of the Azerbaijani diaspora, who arrived in Moldova to participate in an international congress, and students from Azerbaijan studying at Comrat State University. This event became an important platform for open dialogue, exchange of opinions, and strengthening of cultural and educational ties.

The meeting was attended by:

  • Ramil Adygezalov – Chairman of the Members’ Council of the Congress of Azerbaijanis of Moldova (CAM);
  • Mehriban Badalova – Public Relations Specialist;
  • Anna Pînzaru – Assistant to the Chairman of CAM.

Also present at the meeting were students from Azerbaijan studying at various faculties of Comrat State University, representatives of the administration, and university professors.

In a friendly and constructive atmosphere, the participants discussed prospects for cooperation, future plans, and opportunities to support students in their academic, professional, and social activities. The students shared their impressions of life and study in Moldova, highlighting the comfortable conditions and the open, welcoming environment of Comrat State University.

The Rector of CSU, Assoc., prof., PhD Zaharia Serghei noted that such events help strengthen mutual understanding, develop intercultural dialogue, and increase the interest of international students in the life of the university and the region. According to the Rector, the university is always open to initiatives aimed at supporting students and expanding international cooperation.

The representatives of the diaspora emphasized the importance of preserving cultural and humanitarian ties, expressed their readiness to provide comprehensive support to young people, and to contribute to the expansion of international contacts.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the students were invited to participate in the international congress to be held on November 5, as well as in the cultural program on November 6, where they will be able to broaden their professional horizons and strengthen ties with the Azerbaijani community in Moldova.

Comrat State University expresses its gratitude to the guests for their visit and confidence in further fruitful cooperation and the implementation of new initiatives contributing to the development of educational and cultural relations.
