The Consul General of the Republic of Türkiye in Comrat, Ms. Eda Güç, paid an official visit to Comrat State University, where she met with the Rector of the University, Assoc. Prof. Serghei Zaharia. During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for the development of cooperation in the field of education between Republic of Türkiye and the Republic of Moldova, with particular emphasis on Gagauzia. The discussions were held in a friendly and warm atmosphere.
Special attention during the visit was given to issues related to academic mobility, the implementation of exchange programmes between higher education institutions, as well as the development and implementation of joint educational and research projects. Ms. Eda Güç shared information on the opportunities offered by the Republic of Türkiye in the field of higher education and underlined the importance of further strengthening cultural and academic ties between the two countries.
