The kilometer given in the distance calculator is the sum of the round trip grant given in the table below and the amount considered is not multiplied by two. If the student is traveling with a transfer, it does not affect the distance traveled in the above distance calculation.
"Green travel" means traveling on low-carbon public transportation. Use of buses, trains and public cars is included in green travel. To receive green travel support, green trips must be used on outbound and/or return trips and more than half of the total trip must be made in green vehicles. This calculation is obtained by calculating half of the kilometers traveled to and from the host country.
Students who choose green travel will be awarded an individual support grant for up to 4 days in addition to the grant amount listed in the table above. In the case of using environmentally friendly vehicles (green travel); the Travel Grant Recipient Declaration and other documents requested by the Office of International Relations and Turkey will be used as supporting documents.
