Faculty and staff of the Department of International Relations and Project Activities at Comrat State University participated in the online seminar “2025 Call: How to Write a Good Project Proposal?”

On January 10, 2025, the National Erasmus+ Office in Moldova, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Research of the Republic of Moldova, held an online training seminar titled: “2025 Call: How to Write a Good Project Proposal?”. The event brought together numerous participants, including staff members from the Department of International Relations and Project Activities, as well as faculty members of Comrat State University. This seminar served as an important educational platform, facilitating the development of project-writing skills and understanding of new Erasmus+ opportunities for 2025.

Key topics of the seminar:

  • Erasmus+ priorities for 2025: an overview of new directions proposed by the Ministry of Education and Research of the Republic of Moldova, including projects in higher education.
  • Specifics of application preparation: content requirements, partner identification, administrative details, and support for new participants.
  • Recommendations for a successful application: conducting needs analysis and considering the local context, creating a clear and detailed plan for project sustainability, focusing on international collaboration, and emphasizing the project’s impact on target groups.
  • Overview of available project categories:
    • Key Action 1 (KA1): mobility of students and staff, youth exchanges, and virtual exchanges.
    • Key Action 2 (KA2): Erasmus Mundus, Capacity Building, and other international collaborations.
    • Jean Monnet Action: Modules, Chairs, Centers of Excellence.

Special attention was paid to the rules for filling out applications, utilizing the Erasmus+ Guide, avoiding technical mistakes, and adhering to administrative requirements. Practical demonstrations were provided on where and how to submit applications, highlighting critical points for attention. Organizers reminded participants of the application deadlines, which vary depending on the type of project: International Credit Mobility – February 19, 2025, 12:00 PM (Brussels time); Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters – February 13, 2025, 5:00 PM (Brussels time); Capacity Building in the field of Higher Education – February 6, 2025, 5:00 PM (Brussels time); Jean Monnet activities – February 12, 2025, 5:00 PM (Brussels time).

This seminar represented a significant step in enhancing Moldova’s participation in the Erasmus+ program. The knowledge gained will assist universities across the country, including Comrat State University, in successfully developing and implementing projects aimed at improving the quality of higher education and fostering international collaboration.
