On February 4, 2025, representatives of Comrat State University took part in the Public Consultations on the discussion of the Concept of the new National Curriculum, developed in the context of modernizing contemporary education. The event, organized by the Ministry of Education and Research with the support of UNICEF Moldova, was attended by representatives of the academic staff of the country's higher education institutions responsible for initial professional training and continuous education of specialists, managerial and didactic staff of the general education system, curriculum authors and curriculum product developers, experts and educators, as well as students—representatives of the National Student Council. Emphasizing the importance of relevant proposals and the significance of the discussed content, the Advisor to the President of the country, V. Chicu, addressed the forum participants. The participants had the opportunity to ask questions, make suggestions and recommendations to the authors and experts, including V. Andrițchi, Dr. Hab., Professor; A. Gremalschi, Dr. Hab., Professor; A. Țîbuleac; M. Marin, PhD, Assoc., Prof.; N. Velișco, PhD, Assoc., Prof.. During discussions organized in groups for different categories of participants, the following key issues were highlighted: continuity of education; consistency and succession of education levels and cycles; a systemic approach; flexibility of study programs and curricula; harmonization of educational program documents; interdisciplinarity, and many other issues.
