The study of psychology is an integral part of the training of future teaching specialists and is of great importance for successful work in the field of education.
On May 16, 2024, the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of Comrat State University held the already traditional intra-university subject Olympiad in psychology, the participants of which were 15 students of pedagogical specialties, groups AN-23, NDP-23, IM-23, PM-23, RA -23 .
The main objectives of the Olympiad were:
–increasing students’ motivation for cognitive activity in the field of psychology;
–development of critical thinking skills and acquisition of new knowledge;
– increasing interest in intellectual activity;
– identification and support of talented students in the field of intellectual activity.
The organizers of the Olympiad are Ker L.S., doctor of Psychology and Horozova L.F., doctor of Psychology.
The Olympiad lasted 2 academic hours. The content of the Olympiad tasks included:
- theoretical tasks presented in the form of test tasks (open, closed, sequencing and matching tasks)
- practical tasks presented in the form of essays
- practical tasks, including analysis of a video fragment.
Each type of task provided a certain number of points. The maximum number of points that students could score in the process of completing all tasks was 100 points.
Participation in the Olympiad required participants to actively demonstrate knowledge and skills in the field of psychological science.
The prizes were as follows: 1st place - Pascal M. (gr. IM-23); 2nd place - Stoyanoglo T. (group NDP-23); 3rd place - Andriesh A. (group NDP-23).
