On December 11, 2024, Comrat State University (CSU) hosted the visit of the Director of the Department of International Relations and German Studies of Babeș-Bolyai University (Romania), Dr., Associate Professor Ana PANTEA. During the visit, meetings were held with the university administration, faculty deans, academic staff of the Faculty of National Culture, and CSU students. Dr., Associate Professor Ana PANTEA shared her expertise in the field of European studies, presented opportunities for students and faculty, and discussed possibilities for participating in joint international scientific and educational projects. Special attention was given to academic and student mobility projects aimed at fostering exchanges between students and faculty of the two universities. During the meeting with CSU's administration, the prospect of signing a cooperation agreement between Comrat State University and Babeș-Bolyai University was discussed. The cooperation agreement will serve as a foundation for:
- Conducting joint scientific research and publications;
- Implementing academic exchange programs for students, faculty, and researchers;
- Participating in international conferences, projects, and grant programs;
- Developing intercultural interactions, contributing to a deeper mutual understanding between the regions of Romania and the Republic of Moldova
The visit marked an important step towards creating a platform for dialogue and partnership, strengthening both academic cooperation and intercultural ties between Comrat State University and Babeș-Bolyai University.
