On July 12–13, 2025, a professional development program for university professors took place in Chișinău, titled “Integrating the Course 'Electoral Culture in a Democratic State' into University Curricula”. The event was organized by the Center for Continuous Electoral Training (CICDE) with the support of UNDP Moldova and the governments of Norway, Canada, Sweden, and Denmark.
During the training, the following topics were addressed: strategies for implementing the electoral course in higher education institutions; development of competences in electoral culture; contemporary electoral systems and types of elections, the relationship between electoral culture and electoral competence.
The program included both theoretical presentations and practical sessions focused on sharing experiences among university lecturers. Participants discussed best practices, challenges, and opportunities related to integrating electoral topics into the academic process.

In a warm and professional atmosphere, participants explored perspectives for further collaboration, proposed improvements to course content, and emphasized the importance of fostering electoral culture among university students.
The ideas and approaches shared will be applied in updating curricula and courses at Comrat State University and will serve as a foundation for future initiatives in civic and electoral education.
