Comrat State University has joined the IRO4ALL project consortium under the ERASMUS+ CBHE programme

Comrat State University (CSU) became a member in 2025 of the international consortium for the IRO4ALL project – “Strengthening International Relations Offices in Moldovan HEIs for further Integration into the EHEA”, supported by the European Union within the ERASMUS2027 programme, under the ERASMUS‑EDU‑2025‑CBHE‑STRAND‑1 priority. The grant holder is the Technical University of Moldova, which coordinates partner activities and project objectives at the national level.

Objectives of the IRO4ALL project:

  • To analyse European policies and practices on inclusive and sustainable internationalisation of higher education;
  • To train staff from International Relations Offices and other departments engaged in international activities, equipping them with modern skills and approaches in the context of sustainable development and European cooperation;
  • To strengthen institutional policies, processes, and structures that support the integration of the European dimension into teaching, learning, and research;
  • To develop practical tools for curriculum internationalisation, academic exchanges, and technical cooperation among HEIs

Expected main results:

  1. A comprehensive training kit on European strategies and best practices in internationalisation;
  2. IRO staff trained to effectively implement internationalisation processes;
  3. Updated internal regulations and procedures that enhance European integration in universities;
  4. Promotional materials and an electronic platform to increase the visibility of universities' internationalisation efforts;
  5. Project proposals prepared for KA1 (student and staff mobility) and KA2 (capacity building in higher education)

The consortium includes 5 universities from Moldova and 3 universities from EU countries (Spain, Czechia, Romania). CSU’s participation offers a unique opportunity to learn from the best practices of leading Moldovan and EU universities’ international relations offices, contribute to the development of Moldovan higher education's international engagement, deepen cooperation with European partners, and strengthen its position in the international educational arena.
