The team of didactical faculty from Comrat State University (CSU) participated in the seminar entitled 'High-Quality Human Resources – a Key Condition for Promoting Sustainable Multilingual Education

Representatives of the academic staff of Comrat State University, involved in the training of future specialists in the general field of “Educational Sciences”, took part in the Seminar “Highly Qualified Human Resources – A Key Condition for the Promotion of Multilingual Education” between June 23–24 and 27, 2025. The seminar was held online during the first two days, and in a hybrid (online/offline) format on the final day.

Participants in this forum included representatives from the Ministry of Education and Research of the Republic of Moldova, program coordinators and experts from the OSCE to Republic of Moldova, as well as teaching and administrative staff from higher education institutions in Republic of  Moldova and other countries. These individuals are responsible for implementing the Action Plan for Multilingual Education in the our country. On the first day, participants were welcomed by Adriana Cazacu, State Secretary of the Ministry of Education and Research of the Republic of Moldova, and Sergiu Conovalu, OSCE Program Coordinator in Republic of Moldova. The moderators of the event were Daniela Tîrsînă, Chief Consultant of the General Education Policy Department of the Ministry of Education and Research of the Republic of Moldova and Atanasiya Stoyanova, multilingual education expert/consultant.

The central theme of the seminar focused on informing participants and discussing the necessity and importance of actions to promote multilingual education; preparing teaching staff for multilingual education; questions of adaptation and use of required resources, and more. Seminar participants had the opportunity to explore the experience of implementing multilingual education and training teaching staff for this process in other countries, such as Estonia, Italy, Kyrgyzstan, and Romania. Moreover, the university lecturers who attended the event highlighted important aspects and issues related to the professional development and continuous training of teaching staff in order to ensure the sustainability and advancement of multilingual education.
