On December 6, 2024 at National Culture Faculty of Comrat State University there was held the IV International scientific and practical conference entitled “SCIENTIFIC AND EDUCATIONAL SPACE: REALITIES AND PROSPECTS FOR IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF EDUCATION”. The event was organized in accordance with the Faculty Plan of Scientific Research Activities.
The purpose of the conference: to discuss fundamental and applied aspects of improving the quality of teaching in both general and higher education systems.
The main idea of the conference is to ensure continuity between the general education system and higher one, and closer collaboration between teachers and lectures at certain levels of education.
The international scientific and practical conference gathered together leading scientists, practitioners and experts from various countries of the world, uniting them to discuss important issues related to improving the quality of pedagogical education, interested in continuity between the general education system and higher education and the exchange of pedagogical experience.
The representatives of the education system from 11 countries took part in the work of the conference: Moldova, Romania, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan. More than 140 participants sent their materials: scientists, higher education teachers, school teachers, primary education teachers, vocational school teachers and managers of educational institutions.
Oxana Curteva, Ph.D. Associate Professor, Dean of the Faculty opened the conference with a welcoming speech outlining the key areas of the education system, the relevance of improving educational technologies and the need to improve the quality of education. According to the statistics of conference participants, there can be stated the fact that the number of participating countries and, accordingly, the number of the participants have increased.
Rector of Comrat State University, Serghei Zaharia, Ph.D. Associate Professor addressed to the participants of the international conference with some words of greeting. He pointed out to the importance of improving the quality of education in the modern education system, the need for cooperation at all stages of education, and also wished fruitful work and success to the participants of the conference.
The guests of the conference: Natalia Gaidarzhi, Head of the Department of Educational Policy and Management in Education of the General Department of Education and Maria Tanasovich, Director of College named after M.Chakir, Comrat also greeted the conference participants.
The plenary session included two reports, each of which raised significant issues of the modern education system:
Elizaveta KVILINKOVA, Ph.D. in History, Associate Professor, National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Minsk, report on the topic “PROGRAM-QUESTIONNAIRE ON THE “FOLK CALENDAR” IN THE CONTEXT OF STUDYING AND DEVELOPING CULTURAL HERITAGE”.
Angela POLEVAYA-SEKERYANU, Ph.D. in Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, Master of sports in judo, Comrat State University, report on the topic “ORIENTAL MARTIAL ARTS AS A SYSTEM OF PSYCHOSOCIAL ADAPTATION OF PERSONS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS”.
At the end of the plenary session, after a coffee break, the conference participants continued their work within the framework of the six planned Sections outlined in the Program of the conference https://kdu.md/images/06-12-2024-prog-conf.pdf.
The conference covered key areas of development of educational systems, the use of modern technologies and language practices, as well as many other topical issues discussed at the discussion platforms.
The conference also included a significant event – the signing of the Cooperation Agreement between Comrat State University and the Uzbek State University of Physical Education and Sports. The honorary guests of the conference: Shukurjon Gaziyev, Ph.D. in Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovations of the Uzbek State University of Physical Education and Sports and Georgiy Korobeynikov, Ph.D. in Sciences, Associate Professor, Vice-Rector for International Scientific Relations wished Comrat State University further development and prosperity, expressed their intention for further cooperation between the universities and exchange of experience.
Based on the results of the IV International scientific and practical conference “SCIENTIFIC AND EDUCATIONAL SPACE: REALITIES AND PROSPECTS FOR IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF EDUCATION” a collection of articles will be published.
