On January 21, 2025, representatives of Comrat State University participated in the presentation and discussion of the report on the implementation of the National Program "Investing in Teachers." The event, organized by the National Institute for Education and Leadership (INEL), was attended by: Marcelina Baleca, Head of the General Education Policy and Continuing Professional Development Department of the Ministry of Education and Research (MEC); Lucia Argint, Head of the Evaluation and Monitoring Department of General Education, MEC; and representatives of universities involved in implementing programs for the continuous education of teaching staff. The head of the program, Viorica Andrițchi, and senior specialists from the institute presented the results and analysis of piloting the "Psychopedagogy" module within the National Program. The following key issues were addressed: assessment of the module's impact; new features planned for the program’s expansion; strategies for modernizing and diversifying continuous education for teaching staff; perspectives for organizing the continuation of teacher training programs, among others. From Comrat State University, the event was attended by Oxana Curteva, Assoc. Prof., PhD, and Maria Ianioglo, Assoc. Prof., PhD, who were invited by the Center for Continuing Education of Moldova State University to participate as trainers in the implementation of the "Psychopedagogy" program modules in general education institutions of Gagauzia. During the discussion and summarization, the participants emphasized that this Program is significant, necessary, and relevant for the continuous professional development of teaching and managerial staff. It contributes to creating a modern education system, adapted to contemporary challenges, which can only be achieved through the active participation and collaboration of all stakeholders in the educational process.
