
On June 20, 2026, the Faculty of Economics of Comrat State University held an extended meeting of the Faculty Council, during which the results of its activities for the 2025–2026 academic year were reviewed across all major areas: educational, scientific, methodological, innovative, and organizational.
The main report was presented by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Ludmila Todorici. In her presentation, she provided a comprehensive analysis of the faculty’s activities during the reporting period, highlighting the results of the State Examination Commission, the summer examination session, the organization of students’ practical training, as well as the faculty’s key achievements in educational, scientific, and methodological activities.
One of the key issues discussed was the preparation for the accreditation of second-cycle higher education programs (Master’s degree programs). It was noted that the faculty is carrying out systematic work to improve study programs, teaching and methodological support, and internal quality assurance mechanisms in accordance with modern higher education requirements.
During the meeting, the results of the faculty departments were also reviewed. Acting Head of the Department of Accounting and Finance, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor M. A. Carabet, presented the department’s achievements in training specialists in finance and economics, as well as in educational, methodological, and research activities.
Acting Head of the Department of Economics, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor S. S. Curaxina, analyzed the department’s performance, the achievements of faculty members and students, participation in scientific and educational projects, and prospects for further development.
Acting Head of the Department of Information Technologies, Physics and Mathematics G. P. Popil presented the department’s results in ensuring high-quality training of students in information technologies and mathematics.
A report on the activities of the Quality Council of the Faculty of Economics was delivered by its Chairperson, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor T. D. Dudoglo. The report highlighted efforts to improve the internal quality assurance system, monitor academic programs, organize feedback from students and employers, and implement measures aimed at increasing the effectiveness of the educational process.
The Chairperson of the Faculty Research Council, Doctor Habilitat of Economic Sciences, Professor A. P. Levitskaia, presented the results of the faculty’s research activities. Increased publication activity, expanded participation in national and international scientific events, and the further development of research areas were noted.
Special attention was paid to the activities of the D. M. Parmacli “Progress” Research Center. The Center’s Director, T. D. Dudoglo, presented its key achievements in organizing research projects, preparing scientific publications, conducting international practical conferences, and involving students in research activities.
The results of the InnoCenter were presented by Svetlana Curaxina, who emphasized the importance of innovation in developing the faculty’s modern educational environment and expanding opportunities for interaction between science, education, and practice.
The final item on the agenda was the approval of educational and methodological course packages that will ensure the effective organization of the educational process in the new academic year.
Summarizing the meeting, participants noted that during the 2025–2026 academic year the Faculty of Economics carried out consistent and productive work in all areas of activity. The achieved results became possible thanks to the professionalism of the academic staff, active research work, continuous improvement of the educational process, and the implementation of modern approaches to specialist training. The decisions adopted defined the priority areas for the faculty’s development in the next academic year and will contribute to further strengthening its educational and scientific potential.
The Faculty of Economics of Comrat State University continues to strengthen its position as a modern educational and research center, providing training for competitive specialists who are in demand at regional, national, and international levels.
